Isn't it great when function and decor come together?
That's what I thought when I spied this birdcage piece, and I fell in love with it the first time I looked at it.
The color is a distressed greenish blue (similar to verdigris) with a flat silhouette of a bird on top, and a memo clip and chalkboard in the center.
This is a great piece to hang (there is a hole for hanging in the back), or to rest against a wall while sitting on a counter or table.
The cage itself is not flat. It actually domes out about 3 inches from the wall, giving it nice dimension.
I love the idea of changing up the message on the board (use chalk or a chalkboard marker, not included). Use it for menus on your buffets, reminders for your shopping list, or a special note for your loved ones.
The memo clip is perfect to hold a recipe card or a beloved photo.
