Epiphany Glass Hand-Blown Wintergreen Candy Ornament
SHIPPING AND HANDLING INCLUDED
This Wintergreen Candy Ornament is the perfect nostalgic holiday keepsake because it looks good enough to eat and reminds us of the yummy candies of our childhood. We’ve created a classic holiday icon from molten glass to add to your treasured handmade ornaments.
It’s hard to imagine a Christmas without peppermint candy. In fact, you’d have to go back some 350 years to find one void of the hard candy treats. As with many traditions, it took centuries for the holiday staple to evolve into the green-and-white striped, peppermints we know today. Is there anything more iconic during this time of the year than these boldly striped candies? Of course, peppermint candy can be enjoyed any time of the year, but they remain a holiday staple. The striking striped pattern and bold colorful design of our Enchanted Wintergreen Candy ornaments are perfect for holiday tablescaping and add a festive accent to any Christmas decor.
Each swirling striped Glass Ornament is a brilliant mix of green and white colored glass expertly shaped into a candy lozenge and tipped with twisted wrapper ends of sparkling dichroic glass. Dichroic glass is a very special glass, highly prized, expensive, and difficult to work with it adds a layer of brilliance and sparkle that glitters like diamonds in the glass. A loop is added at one end to hang. The Peppermint Candy glass ornaments are handmade working at a 2000-degree furnace at our Pontiac studio.

About Epiphany Studios and April Wagner
Born in Muskegon Michigan, a small town on the shores of Lake Michigan, April grew up enjoying many summers on sandy white beaches. A natural artist, her interest in form, color, and line were apparent since early childhood. Blessed with understanding parents, April was encouraged to focus her education on the arts; exploring music, dance, and many types of visual arts. Her talent allowed her to receive a scholarship to an exclusive private high school for the arts, getting a jump start on her career. She initially focused on ceramics, then in college, developed a passion for blowing glass.
Before graduating from college, April started epiphany, a business name synonymous with the collaborative efforts of these dedicated artists. Over a decade later, her success is self-evident; with pieces in prominent collections around the world, and a 4,000 sq. ft world class glassblowing studio.
