About Polish Pottery

The history of the famed Polish pottery town of Boleslawiec began several thousand ago. The remarkable pottery created by artisans in Boleslawiec has roots dating back to at least 6,000 B.C. Ceramika Artystyczna (CA) is a world-renowned maker of hand painted stoneware from Boleslawiec, Poland. Stoneware made by CA is of the highest quality and most exquisite and unique artistry.

About UNIKAT

 “Hand made in Poland” at the bottom of the vessel. UNIKAT pieces have an additional “UNIKAT” stamp to indicate that it is a unique piece. In addition, it features the piece’s pattern number and the artist’s initials, or full name, depending on the quality level of the UNIKAT vessel.
