Cardinals were a favorite of my Grandma Metzger. She had images of them in many places around her farmhouse. She loved looking out her window and seeing those beautiful red feathers.
I later learned that there is an expression around when angels are near, cardinals appear.
The detail in this vase is stunning. The cardinal's wing and the pinecones are both made out of raised material. With the LED light strand that comes included, the vase almost looks as if you were looking through a frost-covered window.
