This Santa Claus charmed me from the moment I saw him! I love the mixed-media elements that are used!
Dressed in traditional red and white, he's holding a gold shimmering star in one hand and a red/white striped stocking with a package in the other. He also has a sprig of greenery with a red bell tucked into his hat. There's a white pom pom at the top of his hat.
Look closely, and you'll see that there is a raised pattern on his red coat and hat that has been antiqued with subtle oxidation. There is a touch of rustic to this Santa in the way he has been painted, giving a quiet, "worn" look.
He's also quite tall...at over 15", he makes a wonderful holiday statement!
